Our aesthetic training courses are designed specifically for nurses, midwives, and other registered medical professionals. As part of our enrolment process, we require proof of your medical registration.
Yes, we welcome nurses and midwives from around the globe to our Botox and dermal filler training courses. If you're registered with the NMC and wish to practice in the UK, we'll need to see evidence of your registration. For those from outside the UK, please check your country's rules and regulations regarding aesthetic medicine before booking your course.
Absolutely. Our courses are open to all registered nurses and midwives, regardless of where you are in your career. For administering Botulinum toxins, which are prescription-only medicines, a prescription is required. If you're not a prescriber, you can collaborate with a local prescriber or use a prescriber service. Nurses who complete the necessary training can administer Botox and dermal fillers even without a prescriber present for the procedure. Nurses, midwives, and other HCPC professionals can gain prescribing rights by completing the V300 course.
Yes, during your training with us, you're covered under Derma InstituteтАЩs cosmetic indemnity insurance. This allows you to inject live patients under our supervision. Upon course completion, we'll assist you in taking out your cosmetic indemnity insurance policy, providing details of reputable insurers.
